Monochrome painting on paper

«I have become insatiable in my colour kitchen. I turned away from traditional painting a long time ago. I paint colours. Painting has become a culinary delight.»
(Colour book, page 196)

I paint colour fields, monochrome and pure

I was really lucky to come across the Kremer Pigment Factory in Aichstetten, Germany. Kremer Pigmente define my painting. The superior quality of their dyes and their rich variety of pigments have the following result: I’ll never run out of work. Georg Kremer has always shared his profound knowledge with me. Over the years, I have come to appreciate paper as sensuous and subtle reflector of light. Lightly coated paper with a rough surface is able to absorb both a lot of pigments as well as a lot of light. I have recently started working on stone as well.
